  • Attendance at either screening will count as one Ticktocker Meeting (1.5 meeting/league hours)


  • Our NCL Newport Chapter Board finds this film appropriate for High School Students, but parental discretion is advised for Middle School Students due to strong language and difficult subjects such as incest. See movie trailer (insert Link)


  • After each screening, Lauren Parekian and Molly Thompson, the Co-Founders of the Kind Campaign and creators of the documentary, will lead a Q & A Session.

National Charity League, Inc. (NCL) is a non-profit national organization of mothers and daughters who join together in community involvement within local chapters throughout the United States.  Its goal is to foster a sense of community responsibility in the girls as well as to strengthen the mother-daughter relationship.  The daughters participate in a six-year program of philanthropic work, educational activities and cultural events.



OUR MISSION: To foster mother-daughter relationships in a philanthropic organization committed to community service, leadership development and cultural experiences.

Our Membership

National Charity League, Inc. members are mothers and daughters in grades 7-12 who are committed to the mission and vision of NCL and who believe in the organization’s core values. Membership in a Chapter requires a commitment of time and service and carries a financial responsibility.  Membership in NCL gives mothers and daughters unique opportunities to strengthen their bond while growing together, sharing of themselves and improving their communities.
